What it does
Large image galleries are hard to browse. When a gallery holds hundreds of photos, a visitor looking for one particular shot has to scroll and scan until they spot it. This addon puts a search field on the front end of the gallery so people can look up images by the keywords or tags attached to them. Matching images appear as the visitor types, and the results show up on the same page, so nobody has to leave the gallery to find what they came for.
The addon works as an extension of Envira Gallery and keeps your existing gallery design and layout in place. You can turn search on for the galleries that need it, and its files only load on galleries where search is enabled. Filters let visitors narrow results by categories, tags or metadata. The search works on phones and tablets as well as desktops, which suits photographers, artists and businesses that publish a lot of visual content.
