What it does
A standard lightbox still leaves browser chrome, tabs and toolbars around your images, which can feel cramped on large monitors and high-resolution screens. This addon lets visitors open your Envira Gallery media edge to edge, so photos and videos take up the whole display. It relies on the browser's native fullscreen API, which means the feature uses what modern browsers already provide instead of adding a separate viewer on top of your gallery.
Setup happens inside each gallery's Config tab, where you switch fullscreen on or off. Once enabled, a fullscreen icon appears in the lightbox toolbar for visitors to click. If a visitor's browser does not support fullscreen mode, the icon is hidden automatically, and closing the lightbox also exits fullscreen. It suits photographers, videographers and anyone already using Envira Gallery to present portfolios, product images or other visual work.
