Gravity Flow Form Connector
This is an extension for Gravity Flow, built by Gravity Flow, that lets workflow steps reach into other Gravity Forms. It can create, update or delete entries in another form, complete steps remotely and pause a workflow until a specific form is submitted, on the same site or a different one.

What’s new in Gravity Flow Form Connector 2.8.0
- NewAdded support for multiple line input (textarea) for custom value field mappings.
- FixedFixed a bug that causes entry meta mapping to fail when the Entry ID is selected from the mapping dropdown.
What it does
Gravity Flow workflows usually stay inside a single form. That gets awkward when a process spans several forms, such as a request form that should update a record in a separate tracking form, or an approval that depends on a second form being filled out. Without a connection between them, someone has to copy data across by hand or keep checking whether the next form has come in. This extension adds dedicated workflow steps that handle those handoffs, so data moves between forms as part of the workflow itself.
Administrators add Form Connector steps inside Gravity Flow the same way they add other steps, with no coding required. Each step can target a form on the same site or on another site, and it can create, update or delete entries there. Other steps complete approval or user input steps on entries in a different form, or hold the workflow until a chosen form is submitted. Field mappings decide which values go where, including custom values that can use multiple line text. It also works with WordPress multisite networks.
Best for
- Organizations running approval processes that span several forms
- Multisite networks sharing form data between sites
- Agencies building multi-step Gravity Flow workflows for clients
Features
Link workflow steps to other Gravity Forms on the same WordPress site or on a different site, so one process can span several forms and domains.
Workflow steps can add new entries, change existing ones or remove entries in a connected form, keeping related records consistent as the workflow runs.
Complete approval or user input steps for entries that belong to a different form, which helps when one approval depends on activity in another form.
Pause a workflow until a specified form has been submitted, then let it continue, so steps advance only after the related information arrives.
Works with WordPress multisite installations, letting workflows connect forms across sites within a larger network.
Map fields and entry meta from one form into another, including custom values entered as multiple line text, to control exactly what data is passed along.
Gravity Flow administrators add and manage connector steps through the regular workflow interface, without writing custom code.

Questions about Gravity Flow Form Connector
What do I need for this extension to work?
It is an add-on for Gravity Flow, which itself runs on Gravity Forms. You need both of those in place, since the extension adds new step types to Gravity Flow workflows and acts on entries in Gravity Forms.
Can it connect forms that live on different websites?
Yes. Connector steps can target forms on the same site or on a different site, and it also works with WordPress multisite installations. That lets a single workflow create, update or delete entries in a form hosted elsewhere.
Can a workflow wait for another form before it moves on?
Yes. One of the step options pauses the workflow until a specified form is submitted. Once that submission comes in, the workflow continues, which suits processes where a second form has to be completed before approval or the next task.
Do I have to write code to map data between forms?
No. Steps are configured in the Gravity Flow interface, where you map fields and entry meta from one form to another. Custom values can be entered as multiple line text when a mapping needs more than a single line.
Is Gravity Flow Form Connector free?
The code of Gravity Flow Form Connector is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.
Which version of Gravity Flow Form Connector is this?
Version 2.8.0, released Jun 16, 2025. New versions appear here when the developer publishes them, and members get them as automatic updates.
How do I update Gravity Flow Form Connector?
Install the free GPL Feast Updater on your site and connect it with your API key. It installs new versions of Gravity Flow Form Connector automatically and keeps a backup, so you can roll back.
