What it does
Many workflows built on Gravity Forms and Gravity Flow involve money at some point, such as an application fee after approval or a registration payment once details are confirmed. Handling that payment outside the workflow means extra manual checks and follow-ups. This extension brings the payment into the workflow itself by adding a PayPal payment step that you can insert wherever it makes sense in the sequence.
The extension works alongside Gravity Flow and the Gravity Forms PayPal Add-On, which handles the PayPal transaction. You can position the payment step before or after approvals, notifications or other custom steps, so the rest of the process continues automatically once payment is made. It supports multiple currencies, including Euros and US Dollars, which helps if you take payments from people in different countries.
Best for
- Organizations collecting fees after an approval process
- Event sites taking registration payments through Gravity Forms
- Nonprofits accepting donations within form workflows
Features
Add a PayPal payment step at any point in a Gravity Flow workflow, giving you control over exactly when in the process a fee is collected.
Place the payment step around approval steps, so a payment can be requested only after a submission has been reviewed and approved by your team.
Uses the Gravity Forms PayPal Add-On for transaction handling, connecting your existing PayPal setup to the steps in your Gravity Flow workflows.
Accept payments in several currencies, including Euros and US Dollars, which suits organizations that collect payments from customers in different regions.
Payment collection becomes part of the automated workflow alongside notifications and other steps, cutting down on manual follow-ups and the errors they can cause.
Configure the payment step for different purposes, such as collecting application fees, accepting donations or taking registration payments as part of a form process.
Questions about Gravity Flow - PayPal
What other plugins does this extension need?
It is built to work with Gravity Flow, Gravity Forms and the Gravity Forms PayPal Add-On. Gravity Flow runs the workflow, while the PayPal Add-On handles the actual PayPal transaction inside the payment step.
Can I collect payment only after a submission is approved?
Yes. The payment step can be placed anywhere in the workflow, so you can put it after an approval step. The applicant is then asked to pay only once the submission has been approved.
Which currencies can I accept?
The extension supports multiple currencies. Euros and US Dollars are named as examples, which makes it a reasonable fit for sites that take payments from both European and American customers.
What kinds of payments is it suited for?
It suits payments tied to a form-driven process, such as application or service fees, donations and event or program registration payments, where the payment is one step in a longer workflow.
Is Gravity Flow - PayPal free?
The code of Gravity Flow - PayPal is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.
Which version of Gravity Flow - PayPal is this?
Version 1.2, released Nov 6, 2025. New versions appear here when the developer publishes them, and members get them as automatic updates.
How do I update Gravity Flow - PayPal?
Install the free GPL Feast Updater on your site and connect it with your API key. It installs new versions of Gravity Flow - PayPal automatically and keeps a backup, so you can roll back.
