What’s new in GravityExport 1.17.1
- SecurityScheduled CSV exports of more than 500 entries could contain field values that were interpreted as formulas when opened in a spreadsheet application—these values now begin with a single quote (`'`), matching smaller exports (requires GravityExport Lite 2.7.4 or newer).
- FixedValues containing a backslash before a double quote were split across two cells in scheduled CSV exports of more than 500 entries.
- ImprovedFoundation to version 1.35.0.
What it does
Gravity Forms collects entries well, but getting that data into a spreadsheet or a report you can hand to someone else often means repetitive manual work. This add-on handles that step for you. It runs inside the Gravity Forms environment, so you work with your existing forms and entries and choose how the exported file should look and which data it should include.
You can filter entries by date, status or custom criteria, shape the export layout around the fields that matter for a given report, and export large batches of entries at once. Scheduled exports can produce recurring reports automatically, and role-based permissions let you decide which users are allowed to export form data. It suits anyone who regularly moves Gravity Forms submissions into other tools.
Best for
- Businesses collecting data through Gravity Forms
- Agencies building client reports from form submissions
- Teams needing regular, automated entry exports
Features
Export your Gravity Forms entries as CSV, Excel or PDF files, depending on whether you need raw data for processing or a readable report.
Adjust the export layout so it highlights the form fields and data most relevant to a report, leaving out the columns you do not need.
Filter entries by date, status or your own custom criteria before exporting, so each file contains only the submissions you actually want.
Export large sets of entries in one go, which helps sites that collect a high volume of form submissions over time.
Set up exports that run on a recurring schedule and generate reports automatically, removing the need to repeat the same export by hand.
Control who can export form data based on WordPress user roles, which helps keep sensitive submissions limited to the right people.
Field values that a spreadsheet application could read as formulas are prefixed with a single quote in CSV exports, so they open as plain text.

Questions about GravityExport
Does this work with my existing Gravity Forms forms?
Yes. It is an add-on built for Gravity Forms and works within that environment, so you export entries from the forms you already have. You pick the form, apply any filters and choose CSV, Excel or PDF as the output.
Can I export only some of my entries?
You can. Filters let you narrow entries by date, status or custom criteria, and custom export templates let you choose which fields appear in the file. That way each export contains only the data needed for a specific report or task.
Can exports run automatically?
Yes. You can set up scheduled exports that run on a recurring basis and generate reports without you starting each one manually. This is handy for weekly or monthly summaries of form submissions that you share with a team or client.
Can I limit which users are able to export data?
Yes. Export permissions can be controlled by user role, so you decide which roles on your site are allowed to export form entries. This helps keep personal or confidential submission data in the hands of the right people.
Is GravityExport free?
The code of GravityExport is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.
Which version of GravityExport is this?
Version 1.17.1, released Oct 3, 2026. New versions appear here when the developer publishes them, and members get them as automatic updates.
How do I update GravityExport?
Install the free GPL Feast Updater on your site and connect it with your API key. It installs new versions of GravityExport automatically and keeps a backup, so you can roll back.
