GravityView Maps
GravityView Maps by GravityView is a WordPress add-on plugin that places Gravity Forms entries with location data on interactive maps. It works inside GravityView, so you can turn submitted addresses into store locators, venue maps or directories with custom markers, filtering and distance search.

What’s new in GravityView Maps 3.11.0
- ImprovedMap area searches during a radius search, which now return only entries that are both inside the radius and visible on the map, in both the Map and DataTables layouts.
- ImprovedScreen reader navigation, with the map and entry list now identified as a labeled region named after the View.
- ImprovedKeyboard access to the icon picker and its Select Icon and Add Icon buttons in the Map settings.
- ImprovedPagination and sorting, which now keep the map in place while updating its markers.
- ImprovedLayout of the radius and unit dropdowns in the Geolocation Radius search field.
- ImprovedMap settings in the View editor, now grouped into titled sections with clearer labels.
- ImprovedCompatibility with GravityView 3.7.0, so a map keeps all its markers when the page also shows the first or last entry of the same View.
- SecurityUsers who could edit one View could overwrite the saved map positions of a form used by another View they were not allowed to edit.
What it does
Gravity Forms is good at collecting addresses, but a list of entries is hard to browse when location is what matters. This add-on takes entries that hold geographic information and plots them as markers on a map inside a GravityView View. Visitors can click a marker to see details pulled from the entry, such as an address, contact info, images or custom fields, and they can filter what appears by categories or other criteria.
Because it builds on GravityView, you embed maps into pages or posts without writing code. Map settings live in the View editor, grouped into titled sections. You can pick roadmap, satellite or hybrid views, customize marker icons and colors, and cluster nearby markers when there are many locations. A geolocation radius search lets visitors find entries near them, and the map also works alongside the DataTables layout, with pagination and sorting updating markers while the map stays in place.
Best for
- Businesses building store or office locators
- Event organizers mapping venues from form submissions
- Directory sites built with Gravity Forms and GravityView
Features
Set marker icons and colors to match your brand or to tell data categories apart, using an icon picker in the map settings.
Let visitors filter locations by custom fields, categories or other criteria so they can narrow the map to the entries they care about.
Visitors can search for nearby entries based on their current position or a set location, choosing a radius and distance unit from dropdowns.
Nearby markers are grouped automatically, which keeps maps with many locations readable instead of covered in overlapping pins.
Clicking a marker opens a popup with information from the Gravity Forms entry, such as address, contact details, images or custom metadata.
Choose roadmap, satellite or hybrid views, along with flexible layout options, to fit the map to your site design.
Show maps in the Map layout or with DataTables, and map area searches return only entries inside the radius and visible on the map.
The map and entry list are labeled as a region named after the View for screen readers, and the icon picker works by keyboard.

Questions about GravityView Maps
Do I need GravityView and Gravity Forms to use this?
Yes. This is an add-on for GravityView, which displays Gravity Forms entries. The maps are built from entries that contain location data, and you set them up inside a GravityView View rather than as a standalone map tool.
Can visitors find locations close to them?
Yes. A geolocation radius search field lets visitors search around their current position or set parameters, with dropdowns for the radius and distance unit. Results show only entries that fall inside the radius and are visible on the map.
What happens when I have lots of locations close together?
Nearby markers are clustered automatically, so dense areas stay readable. Visitors can also use filters on custom fields or categories to cut down the number of markers shown at once.
Will the maps work on phones?
The maps use a responsive design intended to work across desktops and smartphones. Pagination and sorting update the markers while keeping the map in place, which helps when browsing entries on smaller screens.
Is GravityView Maps free?
The code of GravityView Maps is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.
Which version of GravityView Maps is this?
Version 3.11.0, released Oct 8, 2026. New versions appear here when the developer publishes them, and members get them as automatic updates.
How do I update GravityView Maps?
Install the free GPL Feast Updater on your site and connect it with your API key. It installs new versions of GravityView Maps automatically and keeps a backup, so you can roll back.
