What’s new in GravityMath 2.12.3

Version 2.12.3 · Oct 8, 2026 Latest
  • FixedUsing scope="view" with a View that joins forms using the Multiple Forms extension caused a fatal error.
  • FixedFilters with a form ID before the field (for example, filter_4:date_created) were ignored, so results included entries the filter should have excluded (in the visible scope, these filters excluded every entry instead).
  • FixedFilters using lt or gt compared numbers as text, so 5 counted as greater than 10.
  • FixedIssues with Date and Time field filters: With no date format saved, a value such as 2026-09-15 was read as 2026-15-09; Partial values such as 2026 matched no entries; Dates without leading zeros, such as 2026-09-05, were compared incorrectly; Filters on Time fields, or on Date fields displayed as drop downs or text boxes, matched no entries.
  • FixedIssues with filters on Checkbox, Name, and other multi-input fields without an input ID: Filters using isnot or notcontains included entries that had the value checked; The Math Summary showed no results (for example, with filter_3=Red&op_3=contains).
  • FixedIssues in the visible scope: Filters using lt, gt, or notcontains excluded every entry; The debug report's "no entries" warnings showed the page title instead of naming the filter or View.
  • FixedIssues on Views that merge forms with a union: Filters using is or contains on a Checkbox field left out the merged form's entries; scope="view" and scope="visible" used the wrong fields from the merged form; The Math Summary left out the merged form's entries.

What it does

Many forms collect numbers that someone then has to total, score or combine by hand. That takes time and invites mistakes. This plugin works with Gravity Forms to automate those calculations, letting you add, subtract, multiply and divide values from your form fields. You set up formulas through a simple interface, and the results update in real time as people fill out the form, so they see totals or scores right away.

It fits sites that use Gravity Forms for anything involving numbers. Order forms can show automatic pricing and totals, and quizzes or assessments can score answers and calculate results on their own. It works with a wide range of Gravity Forms fields, which gives you room to process data in custom ways. The release notes also point to filtering of entries by field values and dates, a Math Summary output, and use with GravityView Views, including Views that join or merge forms.

  • Educators and trainers running quizzes or assessments
  • Agencies building data-driven forms for clients

No-code formula builder

Create calculations through a simple interface instead of writing code, which makes it practical for site owners who are not developers.

Real-time results

Calculations update as visitors fill out the form, giving them instant feedback on totals, prices or scores before they submit.

Order form pricing and totals

Set up order forms that work out pricing and totals automatically, helping keep figures accurate for customers placing orders.

Quiz and assessment scoring

Score quizzes and assessments automatically and calculate results, so you do not have to tally answers manually after each submission.

Wide field compatibility

Works with a wide range of Gravity Forms fields, including multi-input fields like Checkbox and Name, giving you flexibility in how you handle data.

Entry filters and summaries

Filter entries by values, comparisons and dates, then show results in a Math Summary, including within GravityView Views that join or merge forms.
