What it does
Gravity Forms is good at collecting data, but those entries normally stay in the admin area where only site managers see them. If you run a directory, a member listing, a database or a customer portal, you need a way to put that information in front of visitors and let them find what they are looking for. This plugin works with the entries you already have in Gravity Forms, so you can build searchable listings from existing data without setting up a separate system.
You build custom search forms, choose which filters visitors can use and pick how results appear, such as lists, tables or grids. Results can update as users type, and you can set the sort order so the most relevant entries come first. Shortcodes let you place search forms and results on any page. Visibility can be limited by user role and permissions, which helps when some entries should stay private. Conditional logic settings also work with keyboard and screen reader navigation.
Best for
- Directory and listing sites built on Gravity Forms
- Member listings and customer portals with restricted entries
- Agencies building searchable databases from form submissions

Questions about GravitySearch
Do I need Gravity Forms to use this plugin?
Yes. The plugin is built specifically for Gravity Forms and searches the entries stored by it. It works with your existing form data, so you can make past submissions searchable on the front end without moving them anywhere else.
Can I keep some entries private from the public?
Yes. You can control which entries are visible based on user roles and permissions. This lets you show public listings to everyone while keeping sensitive or member-only entries limited to the users who should see them.
How do I show search results on a page?
Search forms and results can be placed anywhere on your site with shortcodes. You can display results as lists, tables or grids, and choose how entries are sorted so the most relevant ones appear first.
Will it work on a multilingual or mobile-friendly site?
The plugin includes multilingual support for sites in more than one language, and its search forms and results use a responsive design meant to work on desktops, tablets and smartphones.
Is GravitySearch free?
The code of GravitySearch is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.
Which version of GravitySearch is this?
Version 1.2.0, released Sep 24, 2026. New versions appear here when the developer publishes them, and members get them as automatic updates.
How do I update GravitySearch?
Install the free GPL Feast Updater on your site and connect it with your API key. It installs new versions of GravitySearch automatically and keeps a backup, so you can roll back.
