What it does
The default WordPress search often misses product details stored in attributes, taxonomies or custom fields, so shoppers type a term and get thin or unrelated results. This integration hooks SearchWP into the Flatsome theme and WooCommerce so those details become searchable. Product attributes, categories, taxonomies and custom fields are indexed, which means a search can match on the information that actually describes your products instead of only the title and description.
Once it is active, Flatsome's search picks up the improvements without extra layout work. Results appear live as visitors type, using Ajax. You can adjust keyword weighting and result rankings, push specific products or deals higher, and hide items you do not want shown, such as out-of-stock products or unrelated pages. Search forms can also be placed elsewhere with Gutenberg blocks or modal popups, and search analytics show what shoppers are looking for.
