- FixedAccount for double encoded argument separators in URL referer.
- ImprovedAdd detection for Microsoft Edge browser.
What it does
When a lead fills out a form, it helps to know where they came from and what they were using. Matching that up through a separate analytics platform can be awkward, and syncing third-party tracking with form entries often gets messy. This extension records the details inside the submission itself, including UTM source, medium, campaign and content values, the referrer URL, the browser type and version, and the operating system.
The plugin requires Ninja Forms and works through analytics fields you add to your forms. Visitors never see these fields on the front end, while administrators can read the captured values in the Ninja Forms submission area of the WordPress backend. That keeps campaign reporting next to the form data it describes, which suits site owners and marketers who want simple attribution without learning a full analytics suite.
Best for
- Marketers tracking which campaigns generate form leads
- Sites already using Ninja Forms for contact or lead forms
- Agencies reporting lead sources to clients
Features
Automatically records UTM source, medium, campaign and content values with each form submission, so you can see which campaigns brought in each entry.
Saves the URL that referred the visitor, with handling for double encoded argument separators so referrer values come through correctly.
Logs the browser type and version used by each person who submits a form, including detection for Microsoft Edge.
Captures the visitor's operating system alongside other environment data, giving you context about the devices people use to reach your forms.
Adds fields to your Ninja Forms that stay invisible to visitors on the front end, so the form looks the same to the people filling it out.
Stores all captured values within the form submission, where administrators can review them from the Ninja Forms submission area in WordPress.
Collects data in the background without complex configuration or a separate analytics dashboard to learn and manage.

Questions about User Analytics
Does this work without Ninja Forms?
No. It is an extension for Ninja Forms and requires that plugin to be active. It adds its analytics fields to the forms you build with Ninja Forms and saves the data with their submissions.
Will visitors see the tracking fields on my form?
No. The analytics fields are hidden on the front end, so visitors only see your normal form fields. The captured values are visible to administrators when they view submissions in the WordPress backend.
What information does it collect?
It records UTM source, medium, campaign and content values, the referrer URL, the browser type and version, and the operating system. Each of these is stored with the related form submission.
Where do I view the collected data?
You view it in the Ninja Forms submission area of your WordPress dashboard. The data sits alongside each entry, so there is no separate analytics platform or extra dashboard to check.
Is User Analytics free?
The code of User Analytics is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.
Which version of User Analytics is this?
Version 3.0.5, released Feb 9, 2026. New versions appear here when the developer publishes them, and members get them as automatic updates.
How do I update User Analytics?
Install the free GPL Feast Updater on your site and connect it with your API key. It installs new versions of User Analytics automatically and keeps a backup, so you can roll back.
What does User Analytics need?
User Analytics needs Ninja Forms installed and active.
