What it does
Comment sections get a lot of attention on busy posts, yet most ad tools ignore them. This add-on gives you ad placements built for the wpDiscuz comment area. You can put banners before or after the comment form, at the top or bottom of the comments box, or after every X-th parent comment in the list. Each banner can hold simple text, HTML, an iframe or an embed script from an ad service such as Google Ads, so you can run your own promotions or network ads from one place.
You manage everything from a dashboard in the WordPress admin panel. Create as many banners as you need, attach several ads to one location and let them rotate randomly. Each ad can have start and end dates, and you can switch ads between active, inactive and pending. Visibility rules let you show or hide ads by user role or post type, and exclude specific posts by ID. The add-on works with wpDiscuz and its AJAX commenting, so it suits sites already running that comment system.
Best for
- Blogs using wpDiscuz with active comment threads
- Publishers selling direct ad space near discussions
- Site owners running Google Ads or similar ad codes
Features
Place banners before or after the comment form, at the top or bottom of the comments box, or after every X-th parent comment.
Build banners from plain text, HTML, iframes or embed codes from ad services like Google Ads, depending on what you want to display.
Attach multiple ads to one banner location and the add-on shows them randomly, so readers see a changing mix instead of the same ad every time.
Schedule each ad with its own start and end date, which is handy for time-limited campaigns that should switch on and off on their own.
Show or hide ads based on user roles or post types, and exclude ads from particular posts by entering their IDs.
Set any ad to active, inactive or pending, so you always know which ads are live and can pause one without deleting it.
Create as many ad banners as you need and assign them to different locations across the comment section.

Questions about wpDiscuz - Ads Manager
Does this work without wpDiscuz?
No. It is an add-on built for the wpDiscuz commenting system, and all of its ad locations sit inside the wpDiscuz comment area. You need wpDiscuz running on your site for the banners to appear.
Can I use my Google Ads code with it?
Yes. Banners can contain embed scripts from ad services such as Google Ads, along with plain text, HTML and iframes. You paste the code into a banner and choose where in the comment area it should show.
Can I hide ads from logged-in members or certain posts?
You can show or hide ads based on user roles and post types, and you can exclude ads from specific posts by their IDs. That lets you keep ads off certain content or away from particular groups of users.
Can ads appear between comments?
Yes. One of the available locations places a banner after every X-th parent comment in the comment list, so ads can appear at regular intervals inside a long discussion.
Is wpDiscuz - Ads Manager free?
The code of wpDiscuz - Ads Manager is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.
Which version of wpDiscuz - Ads Manager is this?
Version 7.1.1, released May 15, 2025. New versions appear here when the developer publishes them, and members get them as automatic updates.
How do I update wpDiscuz - Ads Manager?
Install the free GPL Feast Updater on your site and connect it with your API key. It installs new versions of wpDiscuz - Ads Manager automatically and keeps a backup, so you can roll back.
