What it does
Forum conversations often lean on outside media: a tutorial video, a music track, a photo set or a post from a social network. Without embedding, members paste plain links and readers have to leave the thread to see what is being discussed. This addon turns those links into embedded content inside the post, so people can watch, listen and view without leaving the conversation. It covers more than 30 video providers, including YouTube, Vimeo, Dailymotion and Vevo, plus hundreds of audio, photo and social platforms.
The plugin works on top of an existing wpForo forum and draws on the embedding options of the oEmbed project, which gives consistent handling across supported providers. Beyond basic embedding, it adds extended controls over how videos and other media are presented in posts, and a live preview so you can check how embedded content looks before publishing. It fits community sites, fan forums, support boards and hobby groups where members regularly share multimedia and want it to display cleanly inside threads.
