What it does
A standard lightbox shows an image at a fixed size, which can hide the small details people want to inspect. This addon fixes that by letting visitors zoom in on images directly inside the Envira Gallery lightbox. It suits high-resolution photography, detailed artwork and product shots, where texture, stitching or small print matters to the person viewing it.
Everything is set from a settings panel, with no coding required. You pick one of three zoom modes to match how you want visitors to interact with images, choose a tint color overlay that appears while zoomed and turn on transition effects. Zoom works on desktops, tablets and phones, and it runs alongside the gallery features you already use in Envira Gallery.
Best for
- Photographers sharing high-resolution work
- Online stores displaying detailed product images
- Artists and portfolio sites with detailed artwork

Questions about Zoom Addon
Do I need Envira Gallery to use this?
Yes. This is an addon for Envira Gallery, so it adds zoom to galleries you build with that plugin. It works inside the Envira Gallery lightbox and alongside the gallery features you already use.
What zoom options can I change?
You can choose from three zoom modes, set a tint color overlay that shows while an image is zoomed and enable transition effects. All of these are set from a settings panel without writing any code.
Will zoom work for visitors on phones?
Yes. The zoom feature is responsive and works on desktops, tablets and smartphones, so visitors get the same close-up viewing in the lightbox on whatever device they use.
Where does the zoom happen, on the gallery grid or in the lightbox?
Zoom is applied within the gallery lightbox. When a visitor opens an image in the lightbox, they can zoom in to inspect details using the mode and effects you have configured.
Is Zoom Addon free?
