What it does
Many shoppers want to try a product before committing, especially for items like fabrics, paint, cosmetics or software. This plugin adds an Order Sample option to your WooCommerce store so customers can request a sample size, a digital snippet or a limited variation. You decide whether samples are free or paid, and you can turn them on for the whole store or only for selected categories, products or individual variations.
Samples run alongside your regular catalog without getting in its way. Sample inventory is tracked separately from full product stock, you can cap how many samples a customer orders, and samples can carry their own tax and shipping classes. Sample items are labeled in the cart and checkout, and customizable follow-up emails remind customers to buy the full product after their sample arrives. It works with simple, variable, virtual and downloadable products and is compatible with HPOS.
