What it does
Running a forum and a membership program side by side usually means two separate systems that do not talk to each other. This addon ties them together. You can restrict wpForo categories, forums, subforums and individual topics to specific WooCommerce Memberships plans, which makes it practical to offer paid discussion areas, tiered communities or private spaces for customers, students or clients without managing access by hand.
Access rules live inside each membership plan's content restriction tab, so you set up forum restrictions in the same place you already manage plan content. You can drip forum and topic access over time based on how long someone has been a member. For restricted areas, you choose whether non-members see the titles as a preview or whether the content stays hidden entirely. Members can check which forums and topics they can reach from their WooCommerce My Account page.

Do I need other plugins for this to work?
Yes. It is an addon that connects two existing plugins, so you need the wpForo forum plugin along with WooCommerce and WooCommerce Memberships. The addon then links your membership plans to forum access.
Can I restrict individual topics, or only whole forums?
You can go down to the topic level. Restrictions can apply to wpForo categories, forums, subforums and individual topics, so you can keep most of a forum open while locking specific discussions to certain membership plans.
Can non-members see that restricted content exists?
That is your choice. You can let non-members see the titles of restricted forums and topics as a preview of what membership includes, or hide those titles completely so the restricted areas stay invisible to anyone without access.
Can forum access be released gradually over time?
Yes. The content dripping option lets you schedule access to forums and topics based on how long someone has held a membership, so new areas open up to members as their membership continues.
Is wpForo Memberships free?
The code of wpForo Memberships is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.
