What it does
Running a membership site and a forum side by side often means managing two separate sets of permissions. This addon ties them together. SureMembers Access Groups are linked directly to the wpForo permissions system, so a member's plan decides which forums they can see and what they can do there. You can keep some discussions open to everyone while reserving others for paid subscribers or registered members, without changing the experience for non-members in public areas.
Access rules are set inside the wpForo forum editing screen, where you pick an access level for each SureMembers Access Group. Levels include Read Only, Standard (read, post and reply) or custom permissions. Access groups take priority over wpForo's default usergroup settings, so members keep their forum rights regardless of usergroup. A dropdown lets you set default forum access for all membership plans at once. It suits subscription sites, educational platforms and private communities that already use SureMembers.
