EventON Action User Plus
This EventON add-on by Ashan Jay lets visitors submit events to your calendar through free or paid submission levels. It uses WooCommerce to take payments and lets you decide which event fields each level can access, so you control what gets submitted and how.

What it does
Community calendars and event directories often rely on visitors to add events, but open submissions can be hard to manage and offer no way to charge for listings. EventON Action User Plus builds on the ActionUser front-end submission system and adds submission levels. Each level can be free or carry its own price, and you can create as many as you need. You also choose which event information fields are available or required at each level, so a basic listing and a detailed one can collect different data.
Payments run through WooCommerce, so the submission fees use the payment gateways you already have set up in your store. Settings live in the ActionUser settings panel, with toggles and shortcodes for the front-end forms. Admins can see how many submissions a user has left from their WordPress profile and WooCommerce order details, and users can view their submission data from the WooCommerce My Account area. Submission details also appear in WooCommerce emails. The add-on works alongside other EventON add-ons such as Paid Feature Events, Tickets and Slider.
Best for
- Community event calendars that accept visitor submissions
- Event directories that charge organizers for listings
- Niche sites covering festivals, music events or webinars

Questions about EventON Action User Plus
Do I need WooCommerce and EventON to use this add-on?
Yes. It is an add-on for the EventON calendar and works with its ActionUser submission features. Paid submissions are processed through WooCommerce, so WooCommerce needs to be active to sell submission levels and handle payments.
Can I offer both free and paid event submissions?
Yes. You can set up multiple submission levels, each with its own price, including free levels. You can create as many levels as you need and limit which event fields each one can use.
How do I know how many submissions a user has left?
Remaining submissions show on the user's WordPress admin profile and in the related WooCommerce order details. Users can also see their submission data from the WooCommerce My Account area, and submission details are included in WooCommerce emails.
Does it work with the WooCommerce block cart and checkout?
Yes. The add-on supports both the block-based and classic WooCommerce cart and checkout pages, so submission levels can be added to the cart and purchased on either layout.
Is EventON Action User Plus free?
The code of EventON Action User Plus is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.
