What it does
Editing events in EventON normally means opening each event's full edit screen, waiting for it to load, making a change and going back to the list. If you manage a busy calendar, that routine adds up. This add-on gives you a side panel where you can change event details, dates and descriptions without a full page load, so you can work through several updates in a row and stay on the screen you started from.
Finding the event you want to change is quicker too. A search widget sits on the WordPress dashboard, and a quicklink in the admin top bar opens a search box from anywhere in the admin area. The add-on works on top of your existing EventON setup and fits into the regular WordPress admin interface. It also includes pluggable filters that other EventON addons can use to integrate with it, including a filter that runs when an event is saved.
Best for
- EventON sites with large or frequently changing event calendars
- Event organizers who make many small edits each week
- Site admins managing events across a busy WordPress dashboard
