What it does
An event calendar usually holds only events, yet a lot of related content lives elsewhere on a site: a blog post announcing a workshop, a page about a seasonal offer, or a custom post type for courses. This add-on brings that content into the calendar so visitors can find it in the same place they look for dates. Each included post appears as a colorful, clickable entry alongside your regular events, and clicking it leads to the original content.
Setup happens on the post edit screen. You turn on the Include in Events option for a post, then set its title, subtitle, HEX color and the start and end dates during which it should appear. The content itself stays in the WordPress editor, so you edit it the same way you always do. You can also add third-party tracking codes to individual posts, which helps if you measure how visitors interact with calendar entries.
Best for
- Sites already running the EventON calendar plugin
- Blogs that want posts and announcements listed by date
- Event organizers tracking engagement with calendar entries
Features
Add posts, pages and custom post types to your EventON calendar so they appear as entries beside your regular events.
Set the title and subtitle each included post shows in the calendar, independent of how the post is titled elsewhere.
Pick a HEX color for each included post so its calendar entry matches your branding or stands apart from standard events.
Assign a date range to each included post so it appears in the calendar only during the period when it is relevant.
Enable the Include in Events option on the post edit screen for any post you want in the calendar, then adjust its settings there.
Included content is maintained in the normal WordPress editor, so updating a post also updates what the calendar entry links to.
Add third-party tracking codes to individual included posts to connect calendar entries with your analytics setup.

Questions about EventON Include Anything
Does this work on its own or do I need EventON?
It is an add-on for the EventON calendar plugin, so you need EventON on your site. The add-on extends that calendar by letting other WordPress content appear inside it as event entries.
Can I add custom post types, or only blog posts?
You can include posts, pages and custom post types. That means content like courses, products or announcements stored in a custom post type can appear in the calendar alongside your events.
How do I control when an included post shows up in the calendar?
Each included post gets its own start and end dates. The post appears in the calendar only within that range, so a seasonal page or time-limited announcement shows up during the period you choose.
Can included posts look different from my regular events?
Yes. You can set a custom title, subtitle and HEX color for each included post, which lets you match your branding or make these entries easy to tell apart from standard events.
Is EventON Include Anything free?
The code of EventON Include Anything is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.
Which version of EventON Include Anything is this?
Version 0.8, released Jun 9, 2025.
