What it does
A long calendar can make it hard for visitors to find events that matter to them. This add-on groups your EventON events by their taxonomies, such as event type, location or organizer, and presents each group as a list item. When someone clicks a category, all of its events slide into view without a page reload. You can build more than one list, so a site might offer one list by venue and another by organizer.
Lists are placed with shortcodes, either as a full category list or as a single category item. Each list can show upcoming events or past events, and you decide whether term descriptions appear and whether empty terms are shown or hidden. A tile layout is available if you prefer a grid look over a standard list. The add-on works with the main EventON plugin and can add to event profiles when used alongside related add-ons like Speakers & Schedule and Event Slider.
Best for
- EventON sites with many events across locations or organizers
- Community organizers and nonprofits running varied event calendars
- Venues and entertainment sites listing events by type

Questions about EventON - Lists and Items

It is an add-on for the EventON calendar plugin and works with it. The lists it creates are built from your EventON events and their categories, such as event type, location and organizer.
