EventON RSVP Events Invitees
EventON RSVP Events Invitees is a WordPress plugin add-on by Ashan Jay that turns EventON events into invite-only gatherings. It works with the EventON calendar and its RSVP addon, so only the guests you invite can respond, and you manage the whole guest list from the event edit page.

What it does
Some events are meant for a select group: a private gala, a VIP seminar, a corporate meeting or a members-only social night. A public RSVP form lets anyone sign up, which is the opposite of what these events need. This add-on restricts RSVPs to the people you have invited. Each guest gets a personalized invitation email with RSVP options inside, plus a unique invitation link that stops others from responding in their place and makes tracking simpler.
Everything sits inside the EventON setup you already use. Guests can reply from their inbox or through the RSVP section on the event card. Hosts add, edit and message invitees from the event edit page in WordPress, check attendance status and resend invitations to anyone who missed the first one. A message wall in the RSVP section lets you write to a single attendee or the whole guest list. It also pairs with EventON add-ons such as Reminders and Check-ins.
Best for
- EventON sites hosting private or invite-only events
- Organizers of VIP seminars, galas and corporate meetings
- Clubs and groups running members-only social events
Features
Invite-only RSVPs
Limit RSVPs on an event to the guests you have invited, so the event stays private and only approved people can respond.
Invitation emails with RSVP
Send personalized invitation emails that include RSVP options, letting guests respond directly from their inbox without hunting for the event page.
Unique invitation links
Each guest receives their own invitation URL, which helps prevent unauthorized RSVPs and makes it easier to see who has responded.
RSVP on the event card
Invitees can also reply through the RSVP section built into the EventON event details, keeping responses in the same place as event information.
Built-in message wall
Post messages to individual attendees or the full guest list through a message wall placed inside the event's RSVP section.
Guest management in WordPress
Add, edit, message and track invitees from the event edit page, with attendance status visible alongside the rest of the event details.
Resend invitations
Send an invitation email again to guests who missed or lost the original, without recreating their invite from scratch.
Works with other EventON add-ons
Pair it with EventON add-ons like Reminders for automated notifications and Check-ins for verifying guests when they arrive.

Questions about EventON RSVP Events Invitees
Do I need anything else for this add-on to work?
Yes. It is built as an extension of the EventON calendar plugin and its RSVP addon, so both need to be in place on your WordPress site. The invitee features then appear within your existing EventON events and RSVP settings.
How do guests respond to an invitation?
Guests can RSVP straight from the personalized invitation email, or use the RSVP section on the event card. Each invitee gets a unique invitation link, which keeps responses tied to the right person and helps block RSVPs from people who were not invited.
Can I talk to my guests before the event?
Yes. A message wall sits inside the event's RSVP section, and you can use it to message one attendee or the whole guest list. Invitee messaging is also available from the event edit page in the WordPress admin.
Can I handle reminders and check-ins too?
The add-on works alongside other EventON add-ons. Reminders can send automated notifications to guests, and Check-ins helps verify attendees at the door. Used together, they cover invitations, follow-ups and arrival tracking for invite-only events.
Is EventON RSVP Events Invitees free?
The code of EventON RSVP Events Invitees is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.
Which version of EventON RSVP Events Invitees is this?
Version 1.0.2, released Jan 2, 2025.
