What it does
Handling every ticket on an individual basis gets messy once a support team grows. Tickets can sit with the wrong person, and nobody has a clear view of what a team is working on. This add-on solves that by letting you build agent groups inside SupportCandy, then assign tickets to those groups directly. Related issues can go to the team best suited for them, and the work is shared across its members.
Each group can have supervisors who see and manage all tickets assigned to that group. They keep access for as long as a ticket stays with the group, and they can reassign tickets among group members without losing track of them. When assigning tickets, you can filter agents by group membership to find people with the right expertise or availability. It requires the SupportCandy plugin and works as an extension of it.
Best for
- Businesses running SupportCandy with multiple support agents
- Helpdesks organized into teams by product or expertise
- Support managers who need oversight of team tickets
Features
Organize support agents into teams so related tickets go to the right group and members can coordinate how they handle them.
Assign one or more supervisors to each group who can manage and monitor every ticket assigned to that group, keeping accountability clear.
Send a ticket to an entire agent group instead of a single agent, so the team can share the work and collaborate on the request.
Narrow the list of available agents by group membership when assigning tickets, which helps you pick agents with specific expertise or availability.
Supervisors keep access to a ticket for as long as it remains assigned to their group, so oversight carries through the life of the case.
Supervisors can move tickets between agents in their group without losing track of them, making it easier to balance workload across the team.
