What it does
Support teams often need ticket data outside the helpdesk, for a weekly report, a spreadsheet review or a handoff to someone who does not log in to the system. Copying that information by hand is slow and error prone. This add-on adds a CSV export to the SupportCandy ticket list, so administrators and managers can pull ticket information into a file and work with it in any spreadsheet tool.
The export follows your current list view. If you have filtered by category, status or priority, only those visible tickets end up in the file. You choose which fields are included and in what order, with separate setups for the agent view and the customer view. You also decide which roles can export, from agents to registered users and guests. It requires the SupportCandy plugin and runs from the List Actions menu.
Best for
- Sites running the SupportCandy helpdesk plugin
- Support managers who build ticket reports in spreadsheets
- Teams sharing ticket data with outside stakeholders
Features
Export tickets to a CSV file directly from the SupportCandy ticket list, ready to open in a spreadsheet for reporting or sharing with others.
Exports respect the filters in your current list view, such as category, status or priority, so only the tickets you can see are included.
Pick which ticket fields go into the CSV file and set the order they appear in, so the file matches your reporting needs.
Configure different field setups for the agent view and the customer view, suiting internal team reports and customer-facing exports alike.
Decide who is allowed to export tickets by granting permission to agent roles, registered users, guest users or other user groups.
Start an export from the List Actions menu on the ticket list page, keeping the feature inside the screen your team already uses.
A reorder handle in the settings lets you drag fields into the sequence you want for your exported columns.

Questions about SupportCandy Export Ticket
Do I need SupportCandy for this to work?
Yes. This is an add-on for the SupportCandy helpdesk plugin, so SupportCandy must be active on your site. The export option appears in the List Actions menu on the existing ticket list page.
Can I export only certain tickets instead of everything?
Yes. The export uses the filters applied to your current list view. Filter the list by category, status, priority or other criteria first, and the CSV file will contain only the tickets that are visible in that view.
Can customers export their own tickets?
They can if you allow it. You set export permissions by role, including agents, registered users and guest users. The customer view has its own field configuration, so you control what data customers receive in their file.
Can I choose which columns appear in the CSV file?
Yes. You select the ticket fields to include and arrange their order, with separate configurations for agent and customer views. A reorder handle in the settings makes it easy to adjust the column sequence.
Is SupportCandy Export Ticket free?
The code of SupportCandy Export Ticket is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.
