What it does

A helpdesk collects a lot of data, but a ticket list alone does not tell you how long customers wait for a first reply or how many tickets closed last quarter. This add-on fills that gap inside SupportCandy. It tracks tickets created and closed, first and average response delay, the average days taken to close a ticket, and the average number of message threads per ticket. Satisfaction survey results get their own report, so you can read customer feedback alongside the numbers.

Reports are shaped with the same kind of filters you already use on the ticket list, such as category or priority, and you can save those filters for reuse. You pick a preset period like Today, Yesterday, Last 30 days or This Quarter, or set a custom date range. Reports can also be built from custom ticket fields, including dropdowns. It requires the SupportCandy plugin and suits teams that want to review workload and spot bottlenecks over time.

Best for

  • Businesses running their helpdesk on SupportCandy
  • Support managers tracking response and resolution times
  • Team leads reviewing ticket workload and customer feedback

Features

Ticket volume statistics

Track how many tickets are created and closed over the timeline you choose, giving a clear view of workload trends and team output.

Response delay reports

Measure both first response delay and average response delay to check whether agents are meeting the reply times you have set as goals.

Ticket closing delay

See the average number of days it takes to close tickets, which helps you find where issues tend to stall before resolution.

Communication gap reporting

Review the average number of message threads exchanged per ticket to understand how much back and forth happens between agents and customers.

Satisfaction ratings reports

Read results from customer satisfaction surveys in a dedicated report, so feedback sits next to your response and closing figures.

Custom field reports

Generate reports based on custom ticket fields such as Category, Priority or dropdown selections to match how your team organizes its work.

Flexible date ranges

Choose preset periods like Today, Yesterday, Last 30 days or This Quarter, or define a custom date range for exact reporting intervals.

Saved report filters

Apply filters similar to those on the ticket list to focus on specific segments, then save them so you can rerun the same view quickly.

Questions about SupportCandy Reports

Does this work without SupportCandy?

No. It is an add-on built for the SupportCandy helpdesk plugin and reads the ticket data that SupportCandy stores. You need SupportCandy active on your site for the reports to have anything to work with.

Can I see how fast my agents reply to customers?

Yes. There are reports for first response delay and average response delay, plus a separate report showing the average days taken to close tickets. Together they show how quickly customers hear back and how long issues stay open.

Can I report on a single category or priority?

Yes. You can filter reports much like the ticket list, for example by category or priority, and save those filters for later. You can also build reports from custom ticket fields, including dropdown fields.

What time periods can reports cover?

You can pick preset periods such as Today, Yesterday, Last 30 days or This Quarter. If none of those fit, you can set a custom date range to cover exactly the interval you want to review.
